The
art of working with natural clay begins with your
hands.
For thousands of years
indigenous peoples throughout the world have used clay
from the earth to create utilitarian and decorative
works of art. Some of these pieces have been glazed
and some have been painted with natural and organic
elements. There's magic in using your hands to build
these ceramic pieces.
Students will have an opportunity
to work on a potter's wheel. Each student will
have ample time on this marvelous mechanism!
