Art Trek also holds a number of Adult Studio Workshops throughout the year.  
All supplies, drinks and snacks are provided.
You are asked to bring a lunch.

Workshops are usually held in the Art Trek Studio

9:00am - 4:00pm
Cost: $75.00 per class per day.

Stone Sculpture
Michele Chapin

Students will sculpt soapstone and alabaster on our studio patio using chiseling tools, files and Dremels.  The process goes from original concept to a finished ppiece to proudly display.
(Additional $10.00 fee for larger stone)
 

 

Acrylic Painting
Kim Smith

Using Kim's unique and highly successful method of acrylic painting - in one day students will not only learn about the basic acrylic processes, but also how to transfer this layered technique to other canvas and acrylic subjects.  
Students will leave with a completed painting and inspiration to continue in this medium.
 

   

Mixed Media

With a seemingly endless supply of cloth, metal, wire and canvas, students will create a soulful montage from which will spring poetry, laughter and tears.
 

   

Figure Drawing

Working with at live model, beginners and advanced artists will render the human figure in the glory of its gesture, form and proportion.  Students will leave with dozens of charcoal studies and a great appreciation of the human form.
 

   

Mosaic Tile

Carefully placed bright, colorful broken tiles will don the surface of stones of all shapes and sizes.  As has been done in churches, gardens and mosques for thousands of years, students will create long-lasting indoor and outdoor art.
 

   

Watercolor

This step-by-step sequential process teaches the basic elements of watercolor, guiding both beginner and intermediate students through to beautiful original paintings.
